About Capital Baptist Deaf College

Capital Baptist Deaf College is blessed to declare school under the ministry of Hampshire View Baptist Deaf Church. The college exists to provide biblical training for pastors, teachers, missionaries, evangelists, church workers & leaders, counselors, and church planters in the Word of God and the methods of the local, New Testament Baptist church. The college purposes to develop the devotional and spiritual life of the student, to encourage each student to develop a mastery of the content of the Bible, and to help the student to develop Christian character. The general objectives in meeting this goal are that the graduate of Capital Baptist Deaf College that obtains either Bachelor of Art or Associate Degrees shall be:

  • Academically and intellectually competent in his chosen field of study;
  • Knowledgeable and capable of rightly dividing the Word and the Truth of God in Biblical studies and exposition;
  • Scriptural sound and spiritually equipped to serve God with his life in America and around the world;
  • Lifetime habits on hard work, discipline, cleanliness, punctuality, respect, submission, faithfulness, intellectual stretching, and the cultivation of the spiritual life;
  • Above all, able to bring the salvation message of the gospel to the world through a life which is a testimony in character and example to the unsaved people of this world.

Final of all that we will be to fill America with 150 Deaf churches through any means, including the unity of Deaf Bible colleges and churches to establish biblical sound, fundamental, separatist Deaf churches; that we may fulfill Acts 1:8, in essence of the Great Commission to the Deaf world.
