Who should enroll?

CBDC is an answered prayer for many Christians. Anyone who desires a greatest knowledge and understanding of God’s Word, who seek to further his education, and prepare for more effective Christian service can benefit as a CBDC student. Courses are designed to equip the students to better serve as a:

  1. Pastor, evangelist, missionary, youth minister, church staff member.
  2. Sunday School administrator or teacher.
  3. Dynamic leader in a local church.
  4. Counselor, serving through the ministry of the local church.
  5. Those desiring personal enrichment through challenging Christian studies.

ADMISSION POLICY
All students must be Bible believing Christians and have demonstrated a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Undergraduates must have a high school diploma and a GPA of 2.0 or better.

Students must submit 2 letters of reference and Pastor Reference. Applicants are considered without regard to sex, race, handicap, or national origin. All foreign students are required to take English proficiency test before enrolling into college.

PERSONAL HOLINESS
Students of CBDC must make a commitment to strive for personal holiness and separation from worldly living. Students must make a diligent effort to daily read God’s Word, pray daily, attend a Bible believing church, and see their activities are becoming of a Christian. They pledge to honor the Lord with holy living according to Colossians chapter 3.

POLICY ON WOMEN PREACHERS
We do not allow women to become pastors of church because Bible clearly forbids it. If a lady is going to come into our college program, we will train her how to be a missionary or leader to women or teach to women or children only.

“Let the woman learn in silence, with all subjection. But I do not allow a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence” (1 Tim. 2:11-14).

“Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak: but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also says the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord” (1 Cor. 14:34-37).

God richly gifts women in spiritual things, but they are restricted in the exercise thereof. The woman’s ministry is to be focused on women and children (1 Tim. 2:15; 2 Tim. 1:5; 3:15; Tit. 2:3-5). It is very instructive that there were no women apostles, and the divine standards for pastors apply only to men (1 Tim. 3:2-4; Titus 1:5-9).
